Scott is the Principal Cloud Technology Architect at the Co-op; Bringing over 25 years’ experience in various design and architecture roles across aerospace, finance and retail he has real world experience of datacentre consolidation, migration and exit programmes and cloud transformation journeys.; He has architected a large scale SAP HANA deployment running in Microsoft Azure which is often used as a customer reference and case study; With a true understanding that real transformation is driven by the people and culture, and not simply just changing the technology, Scott has presented at several round table and CIO events giving insights into the organisational things often overlooked with a digital transformation.
In addition to his technology career, Scott is also a trustee, instructor and compliance & governance officer for the charity Blackdog Outdoors. Their aim is to remove the barriers of entry and to provide a safe and encouraging environment for those suffering from poor mental health to get access to the outdoors as a way of improving mental health and wellbeing.
